Detectives Arrest Fresno Suspect for Contacting Child Online for Sexual Purposes

Detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force have arrested 26 year old Mario Angel Dominguez of Fresno on felony charges of arranging to meet a minor for sex and sending harmful material to a minor.

His bail was set at $45,000.  He has posted bond and been released from custody.
 
On Thursday, February 26th, detectives served a search warrant at a home located along the 2900 block of N. Mariposa Street in Fresno.  The warrant was for an investigation into online child exploitation.  Detectives had information that Mario Dominguez was having sexually explicit conversations and sharing inappropriate images with a female minor. Dominguez was also trying to arrange to meet the girl in person for sexual purposes.  Detectives contacted Dominguez, seized his electronic devices for analysis and placed him under arrest.

This remains an active investigation.  Detectives believe Dominguez may have additional victims who have not yet come forward or may be afraid to do so.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Fernando Rosario (559) 760-6282.
